They were requested and now they have arrived, the CWE tag team titles! On May 21st Winnipeg, Manitoba kicks off the No Limits Tour with the crowning of the first ever CWE tag team champions. CWE has been a hotbed for not only the top tag teams in Central Canada but across the globe with countless memorable tag team matches taking place in side a CWE ring. On Friday May 21st history will be made when for the first time Canadian Wrestling's Elite will recognize the top tag team in the division.

 

8 teams will be selected to compete in a traditional tournament format to decide the first two men to wear tag team gold around their waist. The first team selected is,

 

 

Former TNA X-Division champion & WWE star Shawn Daivari & "Shiek" Arya Daivari

 

- When selecting the 8 teams who would compete for the gold CWE wanted to select not only the best in CWE but the best in all of professional wrestling and that's exactly how you can describe the brother tag team of Shawn & Arya Daivari. It was only a matter of time that a man who was a member of World's Elite in TNA came to Canadian Wrestling's Elite to compete against the best CWE has to offer. Shawn Daivari can easily be described as one of the most hated men in professional wrestling in recent years during his stay in WWE and during his title reign as TNA X division champion. Shawn brings his resume and reputation to Stand By Your Man for the first time in CWE with a man CWE fans have become familiar with in, his younger brother Arya. Arya has been a breakout star in CWE competing in many big time matches. For the first time in CWE the Daivari brothers compete together in what very well can result in them being crowned the first ever CWE tag team champions!
